The Story

1958

History 1958
Fondazione Adamo srl initially specialized in the manufacture of components for the musical instrument industry—specifically accordions—and later expanded into the molding of thermoplastic products for sectors such as accessories, wedding favors, and hydraulic components.

1998–2001

History 1998
  • Entry into the plastic household goods market with the launch of the OMADA® brand.
  • Installation of the first dual-injection molding machines.

2005

History 2005
Start of international expansion and participation in trade shows in Frankfurt and Chicago.

2011–2014

  • Introducing Ecoliving, a product line with a high wood fiber content integrated into the plastic.
  • Exclusive partnership with Microban® for the production of Sanaliving, tableware and storage items with built-in antibacterial protection.
  • IMG2 Technology Patent: a system for inserting an image between two thermoplastic walls.

2019–2020

  • Research on bio-based compostable materials in collaboration with the University of Pisa and innovative applications of recycled materials in the development of green solutions.
  • The launch of ReAMO, the first tableware collection made from material derived from recycled single-use plastic bottles.

2021–2022

  • Patent for the easy-open system of the Pull Box airtight containers, which won the Red Dot Award for Product Design in 2022 and the Good Design Award 2022.
  • Installation of solar panels and implementation of new production machinery with a low environmental impact.

Introducing BioAMO, a collection of products made in part from a biocomposite material consisting of waste generated during the processing of chamomile, rice, grapes, and coffee.

Patent application for the easy-open system of the innovative Spin Box airtight containers.
